Enough food is something most take for granted but Thrive Lemon Grove observed from the start of our organization there is a great need to ensure our community does not suffer from lack of enough food. Our community is made up of predominately proud working families who have found themselves needed help at certain times of the month to feed their family. Families are multigenerational making the need for enough food critical. Thrive Lemon Grove has met the need through a free monthly drive-by food Distribution for community residents to abate food insecurity. The monthly food giveaway served of 3600 individuals in 2021 and at the end of 2022 we are confident that number will be close to 5000 + families served.
